LeavesRecognition v1.0 - Java Application/Applet
|
01st September 2001
|
DOCUMENTATION - Download - Java Applet
LeavesRecognition is a neuronal network based java application/applet to recognize images of leaves
accordingly to a previously trained Backpropagation Network.
The intention of this application is to give the user the ability to administrate a hierarchical list of
leaf images, where he can perform some sort of edge detection to identify the individual tokens of every image.
This tokens will then be the basis of the neuronal network calculations to make it possible to recognize a unknown
leaf image and specify the species it belongs to.
The main purpose of this java application/applet should be to show that the outer frame of a leaf and a
Backpropagation Network is enough to give a reasonable statement about the species it belongs to.
More information about this java application/applet can be viewed at its DOCUMENTATION site.

|
15th August 2001
|
HOMEPAGE - Download
Many developers on other operating systems already use the efficient Concurrent Versions System (CVS) to
coordinate their development work in large teams. Because our development teams mainly work on AmigaOS
systems, we are glad to announce a cooperation with Olaf Barthel, who ported the first 1.11 version of
CVS to AmigaOS and with help from him we finally managed it to fully port the latest version 1.11.1p1 to
AmigaOS to enable our developers to use CVS on their AmigaOS systems.
To enable other developers to use this AmigaOS port of CVS and because its GPL based software we have
released the latest version along with the source code.
More information about this AmigaOS CVS port can be viewed at its HOMEPAGE.
